problems cancel Most

With the next round of the Polish International
Endurance Championship looming at the Most circuit (CZ), the KB racing was hit
by a parts shortage which has cost Niko a chance to fight for the
championship.
KB Racing's Honda Civic was suffering with a broken
transmission and the parts have not landed from Honda Racing HQ in England
early enough for the team to compete this weekend.
"I got wind of these
problems a day before I was going to fly to the Czech Republic which was lucky.
The team has done their upmost to get the parts from the UK but it just has not
come quick enough and with a three hour race looming the sensible decision was
to withdraw the entry which is disapointing for all involved"
Not going
to Most means Niko's championship charge to the championship title is going to
be heavily dented and due to no dropped rounds in the championship it is going
to be hard to claw back the disadvantage from this weekend.
"I am going
to have to re-think about this season now this problem has occured" Niko
commented. "Of course I can continue with the championship though its going to
be hard work to gain those points back but on the other hand I have some other
oppounities open to me in which I can move my carrer aspriations forward into
GT racing!"
With this now in mind Niko could step up earlier than
expected to a higher class of racing... watch this space.....
