Gearbox destroys Niko's race again

The most challenging race in the VLN Championship, six hours race was held at last weekend in the Nürburgring. Unfortunatelly this race was absolutely short for Niko. This seasons familiar gearbox problems stopped KRS-Motorsport's Honda Civic Type R just after two laps. First stint was booked for Thomas Stoltz but unfortunatelly he lost all except fourth gear and thus German didn't have other changes than just turn the car to pitbox and retire.

"There isn't much to tell about this weekend. It is frustrating to have these same problems race after race. Team must advance their technical preparation for forthcoming races" Niko said.

In the Honda Civic Type R Cup situation is getting very disturbing for KRS-Motorsport after getting zero points from this event. In the last three races everything must go perfectly to getting up to top three from current fifth position. According to Niko team have some plans to advance their technical side and they also could be happy to have Niko behind the steering wheel in some of the last races.

"Next race is in the end of September and if they are reliable enough, I can think about starting to one of the races in October" Niko thought.
