06.05.2007 Niko sign with top Seat team In order fourth season in European circuits for international racing driver Niko Nurminen will beginning at 12th of May in great Nürburgring Nordschleife. Common Honda Civic driver is now ahead of new challenge. During the winter time Japan manufacturer is changed to hot Seat Leon Cupra model. Although the negotiations with couple of Honda teams were pretty far before the season start, Niko is now absolutely happy for signed contract with top Seat team MS-Racing. "Seat Leon is totally new for me, but looks good in paper. Thanks to powerful turbo engine, Seat is about 30 seconds faster than Civic in massive 25 kilometres lap of Nordschleife" Niko explain. In popular VLN races Seat Leon having an own cup class. MS-Racing has show great performance in first races of the season by catching one class victory and being always the fastest team inside the class. In the forthcoming four hours race Niko will share the car with fast German Florian Stoll. Probably team is going to use third driver as well, but it will be announced later. "First couple of races has proven that MS-Racing can offer good package to fight for class victory. I'm happy to know this time I will have young and fast team mates. Four hours race is always tough one for technic but hopefully everything goes well" Niko said. << back to news
