2005 Season review
01.01.06 : Niko’s main plan for the past season was compete in the International Polish Endurance Championship with local KB Racing’s Honda Civic Type R. Season started at April on Poznan circuit with high expectations. However, due to numerous technical problems during the race result was poor expect Niko’s second quickest laptime of the race. Only a Polish squad with a DTM Audi was faster. KB Racing’s working was a big disappointment for ambitious driver, but Niko doesn’t want to be acre about it.

Great debut for Niko in Germany
30.08.05 : Sportscar's FIA GT Champioship continued last weekend at the tight, twisty circuit Oschersleben's in Germany. The Finnish flag was flown by Niko Nurminen whom made his maiden FIA GT race with Czech National Team's Porsche 996 GT3 RS. To make things slightly more trickey it was Niko's first time behind of Porsche's steering wheel and on the Oschersleben circuit. Though it didnt take long for Niko to acclamtise quickly to new settings and clocked competetive laptimes already in the Friday's free practise.

FIA GT call up for Niko
17.08.05 : 24yr old Finnish racing driver Niko Nurminen has been called up to drive for the Czech National team for the FIA GT championship round at the Oschersleben circuit in Germany on the 27/28 August. Niko will be racing the teams Porsche GT3 car and represents a huge step forward for the young fin's promising career.

Completing in a A3 Class Ford Puma with 217 other cars and 3 teams mates, Niko would have his work cut out in one of the classic great races on the modern endurance calendar.

13.02.05 : As the 2005 season draws ever closer and Niko is happy to announce that plans which were created last autumn, are now fulfilled and there will be intensive schedule at Europe this year. Cooperation with familiar Team Karolina Autosport will continue and Niko will join them to compete full endurance championship season in Europe with a new car. His schedule also include one very legendary and respected endurance race, where Niko will compete with a British team. Details of forthcoming season are still a closely guarded secret which will be revealed in press conference at end of March.

25.10.04 : Saturday saw Niko Nurminen take part in the latest round of the VLN Langstreckenmeisterschaft championship series at the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit with Team Karolina Autosport's Honda Civic Type R. The only news was that Niko who thought he was sharing the car with two other drivers learnt that he and Karolina Czapka were the only two.
